HMPLB: Our Sustainable Packaging

We dispose tonnes of packaging material every year and most packaging materials do not disappear like magic. It turns into waste that doesn’t decompose and pollutes our beautiful nature. Our oceans are filled with waste materials that the fish eat up. These fish end up on our plates, so basically we’re eating our own trash.
HMPLB recognizes that packaging is important for every business. Consumers love well designed packaging and for companies it’s a way to stand out and communicate your marketing. Nevertheless, we believe it’s vital to package our products in a sustainable and eco-friendly way.
Therefore we strive to design our packaging as minimalistic as possible to reduce material use. This leads to less energy consumption. Furthermore, we choose sustainable raw materials to package our products. And lastly, our packaging is fully biodegradable, so that nature can re-use the resources making the cycle complete again. Therefore we will leave no waste wandering around in nature or on our plate.
To achieve this, we’re glad to announced we have partnered with PackHelp. They take care of all our packaging needs and share our vision. All of their packaging is certified with a FSC mark-Forest Sterwardship Council. It’s the most recognizable proof of sustainability in the packaging industry.
Most of our products are shipped in a box or poly mailer. The boxes are made from paper pulp that is sourced from responsibly managed forests and mills. The poly mailers are made from a natural resin, they are also OK Compost certified, meaning they are fully compostable and plastic free.
All of our packaging are created with the following ecofriendly properties.
When exposed to light, air moisture and microbes, this product breaks down to natural elements found in nature.
Clean air policy
Manufacturers that remove toxins and pollutants from the air used during the manufacturing process.
Disintegrating into natural elements while in a specific environment leaving no toxicity in the soil.
Centrally located or multiple manufacturers, meaning freight emissions and transit costs are cut.
Contains no petroleum-based plastics
